The Construction Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing the rebuild of residential and commercial properties damaged by disaster. The Project Manager supervises carpenters, subcontractors, and the overall progress of repairs, while also managing the customer's experience.
Project Management Responsibilities
- Completes job site inspection
- Report job progress daily, updating appropriate individuals and systems
- Update homeowner changes to selections through change orders or supplements
- Problem-solve issues impacting project schedule with follow-through in communicating
- Manage the planning, execution, control, and closure of individual construction projects
- Interact with contractors, designers, and insurance agencies, to negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders to ensure that all project goals are being met.
- Manages subcontractors in utilizing materials, facilities and equipment, overseer’s project costs, and contractor performance to ensure compliance with contract terms, building codes, and legal requirements
- Maintain a high level of job site cleanliness

Qualifications:
- You’re driven, humble, and smart.
- You have 5 years of construction or restoration experience
- You want to help others, you have a servant’s heart, you’re a logical thinker, tech-savvy, and you’ve got common sense.
- You live in or near Fort Wayne, you have transportation to and from various job sites and the office, and you have a (mostly) clean driving record and felony-free background check.
- You’re not afraid to show empathy, and you can prioritize and focus on competing obligations.
- You have experience working with subcontractors; scheduling both jobs and people.
- You have experience supervising a team’s daily work and reporting on their progress.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
