Monroe Restoration was contacted on a Saturday afternoon, after-hours, when a Rolling Prairie homeowner discovered that a pipe had burst in their guest bathroom. Monroe staff members responded immediately and were on-site within a couple of hours. It was essential to start the drying process as quickly as possible to limit damage to the home.
Once on site, team members observed that the burst pipe sprayed the entire bathroom (floor to ceiling), which impacted the sunroom bathroom, small hallway, bathroom drywall, vinyl flooring, vanity, insulation, and sunroom paneling. They then detached the vanity, properly cut drywall to remove soaked insulation, and worked to improve air circulation to assist in the drying process. With their quick response, expertise, and equipment, the Monroe team was able to fully dry out the home readying it for structural repair.
A destructive storm with high winds caused a tree near the New Prairie property to fall down and clip the front corner of the home. The homeowner received a personal referral to select Monroe Restoration to manage the repair. A Monroe estimator was dispatched and determined that the gable rafters, roof shingles, siding, and storm windows were all damaged in the accident. Monroe worked with the homeowner's insurance company and verified the repairs would be covered by their policy. New matching products were ordered and within a few weeks, the entire job was completed with a very happy homeowner!
